The Steering Backbone for Light Trucks: One-Piece Forged Strength
At Huazhe, we call the J529 the "steering backbone" for light trucks. It is not an ordinary ball joint. It is a one-piece forged steering link that connects the steering gear to the steering knuckle, responsible for the precise transmission of steering torque. Light trucks carry cargo and operate daily in logistics. The reliability of the steering system directly affects the driver's safety and income. A customer who runs a city delivery fleet of over 50 light trucks once told us: "If a steering link fails, the truck can't run, and a whole day's work is lost. I need parts I don't have to worry about." The J529 was designed to meet this need for "worry-free" operation.


40Cr Alloy Steel with One-Piece Forging: No Welds, No Weak Points
The main body is made from 40Cr alloy structural steel, specially developed for heavy-load applications. It offers high strength and good toughness. Each batch of material undergoes spectrometer analysis to ensure the chemical composition meets standards. Its tensile strength exceeds 900 MPa, capable of handling complex forces under heavy-load conditions.
The manufacturing process uses precision forging of the entire rod as a single piece, with no welding or joining. Welded areas are prone to fracture under heavy loads, but one-piece forging ensures a continuous metallographic structure with no weak points, greatly improving torsion resistance and impact strength. The rod's connection ends are CNC turned, with size tolerance controlled within ±0.02 mm-about one-third the thickness of a human hair-ensuring precise fit with the ball joint pin and steering knuckle for a secure installation.
Double-Layer Coating for Rust Protection: 72-Hour Salt Spray Resistance
The threaded connections are formed by CNC rolling, achieving 8g thread precision. Rolling creates stronger threads than cutting, with full thread profiles and no burrs. The fit is tight, preventing stripping, and installation is secure, resisting vibration loosening.
The entire part undergoes quenching and tempering, with overall hardness controlled at 28–32 HRC. This ensures sufficient rigidity while maintaining toughness, preventing bending or fracture under heavy loads.
The surface receives a double-layer anti-corrosion treatment: first an electrophoretic primer, then a powder coating on top-like wearing two layers of protective clothing. In our salt spray tests, it lasts 72 hours without red rust. This treatment effectively resists mud, water, acid, and alkali corrosion, adapting to harsh outdoor environments.
Finished products undergo full-size inspection, torsion strength testing, coaxiality inspection, and surface corrosion testing. Non-conforming products are fully rejected, ensuring assembly reliability and operational stability.
