At Huazhe, we call this bolt-on lower ball joint the "never-loose" connector. It features a bolt-on design that ensures a tight, stable connection after installation, preventing loosening or shifting. This effectively reduces safety risks such as steering failure or vehicle pulling caused by loose joints.
This product was inspired by feedback from a repair customer: "Some ball joints get loose over time, especially on cars that run on rough roads. We often have to retighten the bolts. Is there a ball joint that stays secure after installation?" Based on this insight, we developed this bolt-on lower ball joint.
The main body is made from high-quality alloy steel meeting international standards. The bolt-on structure is optimized for maximum connection security and durability. The main body has a tensile strength over 850 MPa, providing excellent impact resistance.
The bolts themselves are made from high-strength alloy steel and heat-treated for extra toughness, achieving a tensile strength over 1000 MPa. Precision threads ensure secure locking, preventing loosening from vibrations. The main body is precision-forged, producing a uniform internal structure. Forged blanks undergo flaw detection to ensure no internal defects. Dimensional consistency is strictly controlled to provide a reliable foundation for finishing.
The ball surface undergoes precision grinding and is paired with specialized grease for smooth rotation, low wear, and long service life. Surface roughness is controlled to Ra 0.2 or less.
The surface receives phosphating plus powder coating for dual corrosion protection. This effectively isolates air, moisture, and contaminants, preventing rust. Salt spray testing shows 72 hours without red rust.
The bolt-on design ensures a secure connection between the ball joint, lower control arm, and steering link. It resists loosening from long-term driving and road bumps. On a vibration test rig simulating extreme road conditions, after 100 hours of continuous vibration, bolt torque loss remained under 5%.

Fatigue test: 2.5 million cycles with clearance change under 0.12 mm
